Abstract

The notion of the characteristics of an ignoble human being in Gabriel Marcel's thought revolves around components such as establishing an "I - s/he" relationship with others, unpreparedness and unopenness in relations with others, and presence in the realm of "having." To that end, it will become clear that by establishing an "I-you" relationship, being present to other human beings in the realm of "being" becomes noble, but by examining Marcel's ideas it became clear that the dominance of science and technology over human beings paved the way for the formation of a mass society and further, it intensifies the functional view of human, and as a result all these factors, increases the intensity and speed of ignobility of contemporary mankind. In this study, which aimed to explain the factors of nobelity and ignobility from Gabriel Marcel's point of view, it became clear that he believes to emerge from unoriginality. a human being should be able to freely choose, to accept responsibility, to communicate with the secret and to have characteristics such as love, loyalty, faith and hope.

Abstract

One of the projects in the department of physical education at the ministry of Education is the school sport Olympiads, which will require the development of government funds and other sectors to achieve the project's further benefits and goals. Therefore, this research aims to provide a model for the development of financial resources for the school sports Olympiad. The present study has applied exploratory purposes. In terms of data presentation, the type of research is theoretical, and in terms of data search, it is qualitative research. The grounded theory approach was used in this research, and Strauss and Corbin's methods were used. Statistical samples were from managers, deputies, physical education teachers, physical education experts in the departments, and executive officials of the Olympiad. We chose the samples purposefully and proceeded with the snowball method until we reached theoretical saturation. Data gathering tool in the field method: Semi-structured interviews and in the library method: phishing, a compilation of literature and theoretical framework. For data analysis, open coding, axial coding and selective coding were used to reach concepts, categories and final theorems. In this study, 218 concepts and 21 categories of interviews were extracted. Five categories and 39 concepts in the Causal conditions, seven categories and 30 concepts in the Context conditions, six categories and 33 concepts in the Intervening conditions, six categories and 33 concepts in the Strategies, and six categories and 36 concepts in the Consequences. Expected outcomes of the final model: increased moral and financial attention of authorities, increased funding for the project, greater private sector participation, strengthened management and planning, quantitative and qualitative improvement of space and equipment and more realization of the objectives of the school sports Olympiads.

Abstract

Carbon nano tubes are currently used in many modern devices for the improvement they can cause in different applications due to their unique properties. Especially in Lithium ion batteries that are today`s most common rechargeable batteries, CNTs have been utilized and offered certain advantages over commercial electrodes. Here we report utilizing carbon nanotubes grown on a silicon wafer with an ITO barrier layer, as the anode of a Lithium ion battery. CNTs with the average thickness of 90 nm and density of 14.5×108 cm-2 have been grown on the surface of the sample and used as the battery electrode. Fabrication of batteries on silicon wafer makes possible the integration of functional devices along with the power source on the same wafer, which is a considerable advantage. Surface of the sample remained intact after several charge and discharge processes, which is a very critical feature in lithium ion batteries based on silicon. High columbic efficiency of 98% and specific capacity of 0.08 mAh/cm2 was achieved after 8 cycles for our structure.

Abstract

In order to prevent the growth of pathogenic and spoilage bacteria in food, various chemical preservatives are used. However, due to health problems of these compounds, most food consumers demand the use of natural derived compounds from plant sources as an antimicrobial agent. The aim of this study was to investigate the possibility of replacing sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate preservatives with peppermint essential oil and malva sylvestris extract at two levels of 0.5 and 1% and combination of these compounds at two levels of 0.25:0.25% and 0.5:0.5% as well as study the effect of these compounds on chemical (peroxide value, acidity), sensory and microbial properties of mayonnaise. According to the obtained results; samples containing malva sylvestris extract revealed better antioxidant activity, however, samples containing peppermint had better antimicrobial properties. Additionally, by increasing the concentration of peppermint essential oil up to 1%, the sensory scores of mayonnaise samples decreased. Moreover, the results also showed good antioxidant and antimicrobial activity as well as higher sensory scores of mayonnaise samples containing peppermint essential oil and malva sylvestris extract in combination (0.5: 0.5%). In conclusion, mayonnaise sample containing 0.5% peppermint essential oil and 0.5% malva sylvestris extract was determined as the optimal sample with favorable chemical, antioxidant, sensory and microbial properties.

Abstract

The root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita, is parasitic to the plants and greatly damages the root of many vegetables. The current in-Planta study was designed to explore the nematicidal properties of several botanicals (neem oil, garlic oil, castor oil, extracts of Tagetes patula and Datura inoxia at a standard dose of 2.0%) at District Peshawar, Pakistan. Tomato (cv. Riogrande) was grown in earthen pots for the growing seasons of 2014 to 2016. Pure culture of the root-knot nematodes were grown in laboratory and were applied at the rate of 50 infective juvenile and 200 eggs per root system through soil drench method. Neem oil and Datura inoxia gave the best results by having lower number (2.8 and 5.8, respectively) of galls. Adult females and egg masses were also reduced to 0.9 and 4.8, respectively, per root system. All the treatments differences were statistically significant (P≤ 0.05). Plant growth parameters were also upraised with application of medicinal herbs. This study highlights the nematicidal properties of botanicals for the safe and cheap management of the prevalent root knot nematode. Hence, it is recommended to the farmers for the use of these naturally occurring organic nematicides instead of commercial petro-chemicals that have ill effect on our environment.
