Language Related Research is one of the TMU Press journals that is published by the responsibility of its Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board in the determined scopes.
The Comparative Language and Literature Research Quarterly has been renamed as the Journal of Lingual Inquests and "Order the publication" has changed from quarterly to bimonthly.
Based on the letter No. 12681/2010 dated 19/08/2010, the Journal of Comparative Language and Literature Research has been published as a scientific-research quarterly from Spring 2010 (Volume I, Number I, Row 1, Spring 2010) until Winter 2012 (Volume III, Issue IV, Row 12, Spring 2012).
The quarterly with its new title, i.e. Lingual Inquest, is benign published also based letter no. 3/136019 dated 17/09/2012 that was considered and approved by the Humanities Publication Committee of the Ministry of Science on 28/08/2012. The new publication has began from Spring 2013 (Volume IV, Issue I, Row 13, Spring 2013).
Order the publication from quarterly to bimonthly is done by letter no. 92/34537 dated 25/02/2014.
The Journal of Lingual Inquest, being a specialized journal, accepts research articles/papers in the linguistic domain (language teaching, linguistics, semiotics, semantics, sociology of language, psychology of language, linguistic applications, etc.).

Peer-review process
All submitted articles are evaluated at the submission to meet the structural and subject principles of Language Related Research. The matched articles will gone under a double-blinded peer-review process by at least 3 reviewers (expert in the field who are not part of the journal’s editorial staff) who are selected by the Editorial Board members according to their field specialties. The Editorial Board members have the final responsibility to select the articles.
 
Governing body
Language Related Research is under the scientific control of Editorial Board whose members are recognized experts in the subject areas included within the journal’s scope. Some executive roles of the Editorial Board members are delegated to the Editor-in-Chief who is well-known in the journal’s scope.
 
Editorial team
Language Related Research is under the scientific supervision of the Editorial Team whose members are all experts with high number of publications in their field.
 
Author fees/Access
There are No Fees or Charges at all for submission, reviewing and publishing processes in Language Related Research.
Language Related Research follows the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing.

Process for identification of and dealing with allegations of research misconduct
Publisher and editors of Language Related Research are reasonable to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred, including plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data falsification/fabrication, among others. In doing so, Language Related Research follows COPE’s guidelines in dealing with allegations.
 
Ownership and management
Language Related Research is owned by Tarbiat Modares University, Iran, and is managed and published by YektaPub Co.
 
Conflicts of interests
All Language Related Research Editorial Board members and the Editor-in-Chief submitted articles are gone under the same reviewing process as the other authors gone. In the cases that a reviewer suspects undisclosed conflict of interest in a submitted manuscript or a reader suspects undisclosed conflict of interest in a published article (all authors are filling the ICMJE Form for Disclosure of Potential Conflicts of Interest at the submission time) Language Related Research will follow COPE’s guidelines.
 
Revenue sources/Advertising/Direct marketing
Language Related Research is financially supported completely by Tarbiat Modares University, Iran, and has no other sources for earning funds. Language Related Research accepts No advertisements in the site or even as a report article.
 
Publishing schedule/Archiving
Language Related Research is published 4 issues per year. All the content from the beginning to the end will be available for ever on Language Related Research exclusive website. Also Language Related Research is included at EBSCOhost and has the plan to enter to Scopus and Thomson-Reuters databases.

Guidelines for Paper submission

 Scientific Research Bimonthly JournalLanguage Related Research due to professionalization accepts articles only in the following fields:

Language Research (Language Teaching, Teacher Training, Assessment, Comparative Linguistics, Semantics, Sociology, Philosophy of Language, Sociology of Language, Psychology of Language, Discourse Analysis).

 All contributors are kindly requested to follow the instructions bellow:

1. The articles only have to be submitted electronically through the following websites: http://lrr.modares.ac.ir

1-1. The articles should have not been published already, nor be currently under consideration elsewhere.

2-1. Acceptance of article is subject to the approval of Editorial Board.

2. The official language of the journal is Persian and submission of an English abstract of the article is compulsory.

- Articles in other languages (English, Russian, French and Arabic) will also be considered for publication.

3. The articles considered for publication are in the following three categories:

a. Research articles; The articles should be research oriented, resulted from the research work of author(s).

b. Review – analytic articles; Accepted in limited number and only from those top experienced authors in some specific fields, who have already published papers in the field.

c. Critical articles; by those distinguished authors, both Iranians and foreigners, in the related fields.

4. We regret to inform that the articles more than 20 pages will not be accepted.

5. The journal maintains the right to accept or reject (and edit, if required) the articles.

The articles extracted from theses or dissertations will be published under the name and responsibility of supervisor, and the name of advisor(s) and students will be included as co authors.

6. The articles should include the following sections:

a) First page (both in English and Persian): The exact title of the article, authors(s) name (identifying the corresponding author with star*), academic ranking, affiliation, full address, E-mail, telephone, cell phone and fax number of the corresponding author.

b) Second page: Full title of the article, abstract (in Persian, maximum, 250 words), keyword (a maximum of five), full title of the articles (in English), Abstract (in English, maximum 250 words) and keywords in English (maximum, of five).

c) Other pages: Introduction (problem definition, queries, hypotheses, methodology), Results, Discussion and References.

Note 1: Include the tables and figures (designed by the required software) both in the text and in a separate file (with separate page numbering).

Note 2: In addition to the article sent through the website, a copy of the article (in A4, one – side format) together with the related CD have to be sent to the Journal’s office.

Note 3: Put the number of figures, images, tables and diagrams separately in square brackets [  ] in order of their appearance.

Note 4: Tables and figures should have titles and, if required, footnote in the end.

Note 5: The English equivalents of Persian words or terms together with extra descriptions should be provided in a footnote with new page numbering.

Note 6: References cited in the text should be numbered in square bracket ([  ]), and should be listed in their order of appearance in the References section. If a reference is frequently used, include only the number and other additional information in the brackets. For example, referring for the first time: [1, Vol.1, p.6], and referring for the second time: [1, Vol.2, p.20].

Note 7: Titles of book in the text should be bold italic (font size, 11) and the title of papers, poets and short stories should be in “  ”.   

7- Referencing:

a) Books: Name of the author(s), year of publication, title, translator, volume, edition, place of publication, publisher.

b) Articles: Family name and first name of the author(s), year of publication, title, name of the electronic Journal (black italic, font size 11, preferably in word 2003/winxp), volume, page(s), date of referring to the website.

8. Instructions for writing articles:

a) The articles should be written by B yagut 12, preferably in word 2003/winxp. Page number should be in the bottom center of the page.

b) Line spacing should be 1/5cm, and the margins should be set at: Top=3/5cm, Bottom=3/5cm Left=3/5 and Right=3/5cm.

c) The images should be precise, clear and in Jpeg/dpi300/ppi300 format;

d) Diagrams preferably have to be prepared in Excel software;

e) Tables preferably have to design in word software.
